My first real photography experience was while taking a dark room class in high school. Feeling like a pro with my sister's Canon AE-1 in my hands, I would take pictures at family weddings (because I couldn't dance). My interest in photography led me to manage two camera stores for a large retail chain. There, not only did I get to play with the latest equipment, but more importantly, I had the pleasure of helping my customers create better images.
Eventually, I ended up working in television, where my work and the work of my staff would be seen by the entire world on an international news network.
Photojournalism is about telling a story and having done that for years working for news networks, I am now happy to capture more pleasant moments for a change. I am very grateful for that so let's show the world how special you really are.
